THE DOVE

Since the return of the doves to Noah's Ark brought news that God's wrath had been appeased and the floods were over, they have been recognized in all languages and cultures as a symbol of peace. Flocks are released into the sky the world over on occasions whose purpose is amity and tranquility. Universally symbolic in Christianity is the use of the dove to represent the Spirit of God. So too does this sculpture impart serenity and quiet composure. Its near perfect contour lines beckon your caress. To sweep it with your palm is to feel the peace within it. The perfection required in making this sculpture made it the most difficult of my career.

Bonded Marble, approx. 14-1/2" high, 5" wide. Limited Edition of 200.
