There is nothing to compare to a true French waiter...Garcon. To me, their nature, their mannerisms, their unabashed attitude is deserving of being sculpted. To be hosted by one is to be privileged. They can make you feel honored or have you wanting to crawl under the table. The French waiter is never impressed, he impresses. They are a class act not to be surpassed. Every movement is done with grace and balance as in ballet. Each action is practiced to perfection and never without purpose. Observing a French waiter's performance is, to me, an evening of fine entertainment.
